MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- The Hall of Mirrors in France's Palace of Versailles topped a California-based travel Web site's list of "The World's Top Five Mirrored Rooms."

VirtualTourist.com said the Hall of Mirrors, where Marie Antoinette was known to enjoy throwing parties, is lined with 357 mirrors.

The Web site filled the No. 2 spot on its list with the window ledge-mounted "gossip mirrors" of Porvoo, Finland, which are used to keep tabs on neighbors.

The Sheesh Mahal of Agra Fort in Agra, India, a dressing room lit by candles and filled with hundreds of mirrors, was third on the list.

Sir John Soane's Museum, which is dedicated to the architect for whom it is named and was once his home, came in fourth for its vast array of mirrors, including convex mirrors.

Fifth on the list was the Hall of Mirrors inside the Amalienburg lodge in Munich, Germany.
