SPAGHETTI JUNCTION, Ky., Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Authorities in Kentucky said a truck carrying about 3,000 gallons of red paint overturned on a highway ramp, coloring the road and forcing its closure.

Police said the one-vehicle crash just after noon Wednesday in Spaghetti Junction left driver Manuel Montemayor with unspecified injuries and resulted in the ramp from eastbound Interstate 64 to northbound Interstate 65 being closed until Thursday morning, the Louisville (Ky.) Courier reported Thursday.

Sgt. Sal Melendez of Louisville Fire & Rescue said most of the dozen 250-gallon containers of paint being hauled by the truck fell from the vehicle during the accident and spilled across the ramp. He said the paint was not considered toxic.
