Zhao Peng, 28, said the dress made by his family and donned by his bride at the Thursday wedding in Changchun out-stretched the old wedding dress length record of 5,180 feet and possibly set a new record with the 9,999 silk roses pinned to the gown, China's official Xinhua state-run news agency reported Friday. Advertisement "Both the length of the dress and the number silk roses pinned on the wedding dress can make history. But it doesn't matter whether I can successfully register it on Guinness," Zhao said. Lin Rong, 25, said she both laughed and cried at Zhao's romantic gift of the dress. "I also had 608 crystals stitched on the dress train in memory of our 608 dating days, starting from the first time I met with her," Zhao said.
