Man learns casino losses not deductible

PHILADELPHIA, July 29 (UPI) -- An eBay auction for the phone number from Tommy Tutone's classic "Jenny" has reached a maximum bid of $5,000 with days left to go in the auction.
The phone number, the famous "867-5309" plus a Philadelphia area code, is being billed by the seller, Jason Kaplan, of Southampton, Pa., as a priceless business opportunity to own one of the most famous phone numbers of all time, KTW-AM, Philadelphia, reported Wednesday.
The auction ends Aug. 4.
The seller said 867-5309 numbers in other area codes have sold for as much as $350,000.
