"I'm just tired. I'm not going anywhere," prosecutors quoted "Superman" as telling officers who told him to move.
Jacqueline Samuels, Katsnelson's lawyer, said he attempted to flee when officers prepared to arrest him, but he was stopped with the use of pepper spray. Katsnelson told the New York Daily News the stunt was to protest Trump's "monopoly" on "ugly buildings."
He was charged with resisting arrest, trespassing, disorderly conduct and obstructing government administration and released after posting $1,000 bail.
Katsnelson was previously arrested July 9 after a brawl in Times Square involving Katsnelson in his Superman costume, a man dressed as Batman and seven New York police officers.
