U.S. President Obama speaks on job creation in Washington

ORLANDO, Fla., July 3 (UPI) -- An animatronic version of President Barack Obama has joined its predecessors in the Hall of Presidents at Walt Disney World in Florida.

The exhibit reopens this weekend after its first makeover since it opened in 1971, CNN reported. It is now called "The Hall of Presidents: A Celebration of Liberty's Leaders."

Disney Imagineers worked hard to make Obama's representative as lifelike as possible, company officials said. That included going to Washington to record his speech and studying his clothing and gestures.

"He's very tailored and very well-dressed all the time so that's what we were trying to achieve, and I think we did," said Janice Jones, a costumer.

The company called its Obama animatronic "the most dynamic figure Disney has ever created."

"The magic of the show is actually being able to see all of the presidents throughout history on this stage together," said Eric Jacobson, a top executive at Walt Disney Imagineering. "We have to use our magic to bring that together to make that happen."
