SYLVANIA, Ohio, July 1 (UPI) -- Authorities in Ohio say firefighters were called to a burning house used for training exercises the previous day.

The Sylvania Township Fire Department said the fire, which was extinguished early Wednesday, was at a vacant house used Tuesday for training exercises that included two Sylvania Township trustees and two Sylvania City Council members, the Toledo (Ohio) Blade reported Wednesday.

Officials said the cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
