COWES, England, May 1 (UPI) -- British police said an 18-year-old was arrested in connection with pictures featuring the faces of students and teachers on pornographic images.
A Hampshire police spokesman said the teenager was arrested on suspicion of possessing and publishing pseudo-indecent photographs after the faces of students and teachers at Cowes High School on the Isle of Wight were superimposed on pornographic pictures and posted online, The Sun reported Friday.
David Snashall, the school's head teacher, said officials were cooperating with the police investigation.
"The school continues to work with police and provide appropriate support to those people affected by this incident," he said. "As this is an active police investigation into a matter that took place outside of the school, it would be inappropriate to comment further."
