EDINBURGH, Scotland, April 30 (UPI) -- A Scottish judge ordered a fisherman to pay nearly $5 million to his ex-wife as part of their divorce settlement.
Judge Lady Anne Smith ordered James Watt, 53, to pay ex-wife Ann Watt $4,984,400 to bring her total cash and property from the divorce to a value of $6,268,000, a 48 percent share of the matrimonial property, the Edinburgh Daily Record said.
Ann Watt told the court her ex-husband claimed to be worth between $15 million and $18 million, but he offered her only $2.2 million after they ended their 25-year marriage.
