Sagging robber strikes again

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 8 (UPI) -- Police in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., say a convenience store robber with a pattern of wearing bright shorts under saggy pants has struck again.

Investigators said the gun-toting suspect, who during his robberies wears red shorts with a white strip under saggy black pants, robbed a 7-Eleven store Saturday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Wednesday.

The man, who is described as 6-feet-tall and in his mid-20s, previously robbed two other 7-Eleven stores Dec. 23 and March 29 and a Walgreens Jan. 15, police said. During his robberies, he has taken a total of about $1,000.

Police spokeswoman Detective Kathy Collins said no one was hurt during any of the robberies.

"Everyone has done what they should have done: comply," she said.
