BOYNTON BEACH, Fla., April 8 (UPI) -- Police in Florida say a car theft suspect was arrested after his alleged victim saw the missing vehicle posted for sale on Web site Craigslist.

Boynton Beach, Fla., police said the victim saw a vehicle that appeared similar to his stolen 1970 Chevy Chevelle listed on the Web site and he made arrangements with the poster, William Jones, 20, to look at the car, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Wednesday.

The victim contacted police after determining that the car was his and officers arrested Jones Monday. He was charged with grand theft auto, burglary and dealing in stolen property.

Police said Jones stole the car and some assorted auto parts from a vacant property owned by the victim in Lantana, Fla. He then allegedly burglarized a vacant home in Boynton Beach and used the house's garage to store the stolen merchandise.
