TROWBRIDGE, England, April 4 (UPI) -- A nonagenarian Englishman says he truly enjoyed jumping from an airplane to raise money for the Royal National Life-Boat Institution.

George Moyse of Bournemouth, who turns 98 Wednesday, said following his inaugural 10,000-foot leap he will likely enjoy the thrill of sky diving again, The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday.

"It was lovely. I really enjoyed it, I wasn't frightened at all. It was the first time but it won't be the last," said Moyse, who jumped in tandem with a 43-year-old grandson, reaching a speed of about 120 mph while free-falling before their parachutes opened.

Details about how much money Moyse raised through his recent daring activity were not reported.

Moyse said he was lucky to be able to enjoy such adventurous pursuits at his age, but also credited his active lifestyle for his current capabilities.

"I do not sit around. I get about, I go for a walk every day and I do my own cooking, washing, ironing, everything. I have just been lucky to be so agile," the active senior told the Telegraph.
