$336.4 million Powerball jackpot unclaimed

PAINESVILLE, Ohio, March 30 (UPI) -- The Lake County, Ohio, utilities department said a malfunction with a chemical feeder caused many customers to receive pink water from their faucets.
The department said the 8 p.m. malfunction Saturday led to the water receiving too much potassium permanganate, a chemical used to remove bad tastes, odors and other contaminants from water, WEWS-TV, Cleveland, reported Monday.
Rick Martin, executive director of the Water Department, said the pink water is not a health risk but it can stain clothes. He said the department is flushing hydrants and adding additional treatments to the water in an attempt to clear the discoloration.
