Spanish transsexual man expecting twins

BARCELONA, Spain, March 21 (UPI) -- A Spanish man who was born a woman, and is still legally considered a woman in Spain, says he is expecting twins.

Ruben Noe Coronado, 25, of Barcelona will likely be the world's first transsexual father of twins and is due in late September, Britain's Daily Telegraph said Saturday.

American Tracy Lagondino last year became the first male transsexual to have a baby.

Coronado was in the midst of a sex change process and decided to postpone the removal of her female organs so he could give birth.

The Telegraph said Coronado will raise the children with his 43-year-old female partner and will marry her when the sex change is completed.
