NEW YORK, March 13 (UPI) -- Proprietors of a Web site that offers homework answers to college students say the site gets more business from Columbia University than from any other school.

Officials with Cramster.com said e-mail addresses from the New York school outnumber addresses issued by Ohio State University, the University of Southern California and the University of California at Los Angeles among the site's customers, the New York Post reported Friday.

"Not only do we have the most users there, but they are the most active," Cramster Chief Executive Aaron Hawker said of Columbia.

Several Columbia students defended the Web site, which has drawn criticism for making the answers from hundreds of textbooks available to students who pay a $9.95 monthly fee.

"It's not cheating, it's awesome," Daniel Gray, 20, a physics and film major, said of the Web site. "Those who rely on it (for answers) get screwed. It's to help students who want to learn, and it helped me."
