DALLAS, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- No one has been able to identify the origins of a 6-pound chunk of metal that fell from the sky and slammed through a Dallas home's roof, authorities say.

Dallas police spokesman, Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse, said no one was in the Dallas home when the metal chunk impacted it this week, creating holes in the site's roof and second-story floor, the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram said Thursday.
