An intense hunt for photographic evidence of the monster, called Storsjoodjuret, has prompted officials of northern Sweden town of Svenstavik to limit the number of cameras along Lake Storsjon to four. But the discovery of monster surveillance photos published on the Web site of the town's local business association has prompted fines, the Swedish Web site The Local reported Saturday. Advertisement "When we found out about the camera surveillance undertaken without a permit we immediately conducted a review. The association has since been encouraged to apply for a permit," said Asa Johansson of the Jamtland County Administrative Board. Interest in the Great Lake Sea Monster spiked when a film clip broadcast on Swedish Television showed a blurry, long and narrow silhouette moving in the lake's nether regions, The Local said.
