ELIZABETH, N.J., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- The operators of a funeral home in Elizabeth, N.J., say a cardboard cutout of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama is a huge hit with visitors.
Kim Nesbitt-Good said she and her husband, Teddy, always let visitors take a look at their life-size Obama cutout or take a photograph with the cardboard creation, The Star-Ledger newspaper of New Jersey reported.
"We've had about 500 people take pictures with him," she said of The Nesbitt Funeral Home's cardboard cutout. "Teddy always lets them in."
A photograph of the Obama family adorns the funeral home's calendars and a picture of the president-elect is in the foyer.
Nesbitt-Good, who is pictured alongside Obama in the foyer photo, told the Star-Ledger she knows the funeral parlor has essentially become a memorial to Obama.
"People say it's like a shrine to Obama. That's okay. It is," she said.
