FEOCK, England, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Two sisters, believed to be Britain's oldest twins, said they celebrated their 101st birthdays Thursday with their families.
Betty Richards and Jenny Pelmore of Feock, England, said their secrets to long life are activity and keeping a positive outlook, The Times of London reported Thursday.
"We are still in very good health and keep mobile," Pelmore said. "We are also together, which is the main thing. We have always been active and intend to remain so."
The women said they are planning a party for later in the month.
"We always celebrate every year. We had champagne on our 21st birthday and we hated it," Pelmore said. "I like a gin with plenty of tonic water. Betty likes her brandy and ginger."
