Thursday, November 12
DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- A Dayton, Ohio, man was expected to recover from injuries suffered when his fiancee hit him with her car while searching for a dropped cell phone.
The man was walking through the parking lot at a bank when he was hit by his fiancee's GMC Yukon, which has a license plate that says "ALL HER," The Dayton (Ohio) Daily News reported Wednesday.
The woman then panicked, hit the gas and collided with an automated teller machine, said Police Lt. Patrick Walsh, adding she had a learner's permit but no driver's license.
The woman, whose name was not released, was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to control her automobile, Welsh said.
Her fiance was treated at a local hospital and released.
