ILKESTON, England, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- A Tesco supermarket in Ilkeston, England, is already selling Easter products more than four months before the holiday, shoppers said.

Customers said traditional Easter goodies including Cadbury's Creme Eggs, Easter Chicks and chocolate bunnies were placed on the shelves next to marked-down winter holiday items Monday, only four days after Christmas, The Daily Telegraph reported Wednesday.

"I couldn't believe it. Selling Easter eggs three or four days after Christmas is ludicrous -- particularly when Easter is in April next year," said store customer Stephen Roland, 31.

A spokesman for Tesco said locations across Britain will soon be bringing out their Easter displays.
