JERSEY CITY, N.J., Dec. 18 (UPI) -- The mayor of Jersey City, N.J., has recorded a Christmas album of the Democrat singing seasonal classics including "White Christmas" and "Let it Snow."

Mayor Jerramiah Healy, who gained notoriety for singing a cover of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" at the after party of the Irish Festival earlier this year, also included "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and non-holiday tunes "God Bless America" and "The Way You Look Tonight," The Jersey Journal reported Thursday.

The CD, which was paid for by Healy for Mayor 2009, includes backup vocals from the St. Dominic Academy Choir.

Healy said he would give out free copies of the recording Thursday at the Maureen Collier Senior Center's Christmas party.
