Tony Adams, 49, bested the previous record -- 512 taps in a minute -- on live television while wearing his 32-year-old tap shoes, The Dominion Post reported Tuesday. "I'm very proud of him but I really can't understand what all the fuss is about. He was a much better dancer when he was younger," she said of her son, who won several national dance titles in his youth.
