MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Fox Sports has apologized after Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe was accidentally shown naked on television.

Shiancoe could be seen in the background while a Fox cameraman recorded team owner Zygi Wilf presenting the ball from Sunday's game to coach Brad Childress' son Andrew, 19, who is joining the Marine Corps, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported Tuesday. The incident took place in the locker room after the game.

"It obviously was an oversight on our part and we apologize," said Fox Sports vice president of communications, Dan Bell.
