New record: 42 kisses in 30 seconds

LONDON, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- A 24-year-old British woman said she has set a world record by kissing 42 men within a 30-second time limit.

Ruth Reynolds performed the feat, which topped the previous record of 36 kisses inside of a minute, with official adjudicator Karolina Thelin and Guinness Book of Records editor-in-chief Craig Glenday on hand, The Sun reported Thursday.

"I was quietly confident I would break the record -- but I'm delighted that I broke it by so much," Reynolds said. "It was actually a lot of fun. I kissed more men in a minute than in my whole life to date!"

Volunteer Laurence Aronberg, 30, said the record was not the first to include him.

"I helped set the record for the number of people on a bus last year. This was much more fun," he said.
