LONDON, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- A man of Indian descent is suing his British former employer after his face was superimposed on a picture of an al-Qaida deputy.

Vinod Rajdev, 58, claims in his lawsuit against software provider Civica that his coworkers would often joke that he was an al-Qaida terrorist "mastermind." He said he eventually found two altered photographs placed at his desk that superimposed his face on the body of al-Qaida deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri sitting with Osama bin Laden, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

Rajdev claims in his suit that he was commonly called "Paki" and "corner shop" by coworkers and his bosses would commonly take projects away from him and give them to less-experienced white employees.

The lawsuit seeks nearly $100,000 from Civica, which Rajdev quit in November 2007.
