TAMWORTH, England, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- A man in England was quizzed about his sex life when he went to enroll for a training program to help people find jobs, he said.
Jason Lightwood said Juniper Training in Tamworth gave him a self-esteem questionnaire that asked about his skills in the bedroom, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Lightwood said he has surprised by one of the questions that asked if he ever "found it difficult to perform adequately or without embarrassment when involved in sex," the newspaper said.
"I thought it was outrageous and totally irrelevant to helping me get back into work, which is what they are supposed to do," he said. "I asked the woman who was running the session why on Earth she needed to know about my sex life. She told me that if you're not performing well in bed it can affect how you do at work."
Juniper Training is authorized by the Department for Work and Pensions to provide job training programs.
A spokesperson for the department said the questionable material was not part of their usual course content.
"It was given out, on this one occasion, for participant's personal use only and will not be used as part of any future courses," the spokesperson said.
