The poll, conducted by Swedbank real estate affiliate Fastighetsbyran to coincide with Friday's Neighbor Day holiday in the country, found six out of 10 respondents said their neighbors were disruptive, while 62 percent admitted they are probably more annoying than their neighbors, The Local reported Friday. Advertisement "Having good neighbors is really important. In part people don't want to have disruptive neighbors, but I've noticed that just as often potential buyers are worried that they themselves might bother their neighbors," said Carina Husgard, an estate agent with Fastighetsbyran in Stockholm. The survey suggests 26 percent of Swedes would consider an acerbic elderly woman who is easily upset by loud noises to be the worst of all possible neighbors, while 24 percent would be more upset by living next to loud partiers -- and only 18 percent of women and 9 percent of men would be the least welcoming to neighbors prone to loud sexual encounters and walking around their homes nude.
