LAS VEGAS, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- The U.S. Marshals Service says it will apply for a liquor license to keep up the value of a Las Vegas topless bar it seized last year.

The Las Vegas Sun said Friday that the market value of the Crazy Horse Too club crumbled after the marshals declined to renew its license and exotic dance permits.

Officials said at the time they did not want to get into the topless bar business; however they were also unable to find a buyer for the establishment as quickly as they had hoped. The establishment was seized to pay off various fines and back taxes owed by the previous owner.

The Sun said one bank appraised the bar at $30 million with a liquor license and a paltry $4.6 million since it went dry.

The marshals are disputing that conclusion, but have nevertheless hired a consultant to help them get the drinks flowing once again.
