BEREA, Ky., Oct. 30 (UPI) -- An 82-year-old man in Berea, Ky., allegedly traded OxyContin to two young women in return for sexual favors, police say.

Berea Police Detective Lee Ann Roberts said in addition to being suspected of trading the drugs for sex, Archie Anglin was arrested last week on charges of possessing and trafficking a controlled substance, The Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader said Wednesday.

Roberts alleged in the arrest report that she arrested the elderly man on Oct. 21 after finding 11 hydrocodone tablets and eight alprazolam pills in his home.

The alleged discovery of the drugs came as Roberts was attempting to serve Anglin with a warrant on trafficking charges, the report says.

Berea Police Capt. Ken Clark told the Herald-Leader Anglin first came under suspicion when police officers routinely noticed an unusual number of young women at the man's home.

"That was one of the things that started sort of making our officers suspicious," Clark said, referring to police responses to Anglin's reports of missing medication from his home.
