Police: Woman wore stolen dress to store

STUART, Fla., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Police in Stuart, Fla., said they have arrested a woman who allegedly wore a stolen dress into the store she took it from one week after the theft.

Investigators said Sharon Lewis, 60, was arrested and charged with felony retail theft after employees at April Daze called police Friday to report a woman had come into the store wearing a $300 Johnny Was dress that had been stolen from the shop Oct. 17, WPBF-TV, Palm Beach Garden, Fla., reported Tuesday.

Lewis was taken to the Martin County Jail.
