MIRAMAR, Fla., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- A Florida high school student who exposed himself to a teacher told police he was re-enacting a prank he saw on a television show.
Miramar High School teacher Deborah Harrell, 61, was alone in her classroom when the boy came in with his fly open and his T-shirt pulled over his head, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Wednesday.
The newspaper says documents indicate the suspect was identified through the use of images recorded by hallway security cameras.
He was charged with indecent exposure, the newspaper said.
"He stated that he decided to act out something that he observed on a TV show ('That 70's Show') over the weekend," the police report said. "He further advised that he believed that it was a funny prank."
The boy's name is being withheld because he is a minor.
