No second-day air for Chicago's dolphins

CHICAGO, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Officials at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium say the seven whales and four dolphins they FedExed to the East Coast are doing fine.

The mammals were delivered to the Mystic Aquarium where they will be bivouacked while renovations are completed at the Shedd Oceanarium exhibit.

"Everybody's doing great," Shedd's Ken Ramirez told the Chicago Sun Times.

The move was no ordinary FedEx delivery, although someone probably signed for the six tons of critters.

The delivery company used two Airbus cargo jets to haul the watertight containers that were taken to O'Hare airport by truck in an operation that took place Aug. 29-Sept. 3.
