The suspect's mother called police to her home after the teen, identified as Mackenzie Bass, went into a rage and began throwing objects around the house after his mother asked if he had eaten his younger sister's spaghetti, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Friday.
Officers said Bass threw a frying pan at them after they arrived at the home and shouted that they would have to kill him because he did not want to go to jail.
The police report said Bass threw several other pieces of cookware at the officers before he slipped on a floor officers had coated in pepper spray.
He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, four counts of obstructing law enforcement and one count of criminal trespass.
Bass was being held at the Fulton County Jail.
