WEEHAWKEN, N.J., Aug. 15 (UPI) -- A New Jersey man has created a Web site that offers a stock of e-mail messages of constructive criticism that can be sent anonymously.

One message available on NiceCritic.com is: "Please do not remove your shoes. Your feet tend to give off an aroma." Another admonishes: "Please refrain from slapping people's buttocks."

Erik Riesenberg of Weehawken, N.J., told the Washington Post he was inspired to create the site after a friend told him about his nose hair. He said she was more embarrassed by the exchange than he was, leading him to think "there had to be a better way to facilitate communication."

Riesenberg thinks that his messages are polite and he offers a section where users can send anonymous compliments as well.

But not everyone agrees that the site is the way to go. That includes Peter Post, whose grandmother, Emily Post, was the leading U.S. authority on etiquette in her heyday. "How would you feel if you got one of these in your inbox?" he asked.
