MOUNT JULIET, Tenn., July 23 (UPI) -- A Mount Juliet, Tenn., woman whose ex-fiance blasted her in a newspaper ad said she has filed harassment charges against the man.

Tammy Lapoint said Paul Lee Dunkel's July 9 newspaper ad, which described their relationship as a "nightmare" and said he was happy Lapoint called the engagement off, left her publicly humiliated, leading her to file harassment charges and a civil lawsuit against her former beau, WSMV-TV in Nashville reported Wednesday.

Lapoint has also filed suit against the newspaper that ran the ad.

"She was absolutely mortified to see this come out in the newspaper and to see it on the Internet. He was also on Craigslist posting comments in their rants and raves section about her," said Tim Hatton, Lapoint's lawyer.

He said his client is afraid of what Dunkel might do next.

"Maybe he's just a bad apple. Maybe he's just unbalanced. We don't know at this point," Hatton told WSMV-TV.
