OKLAHOMA CITY, July 20 (UPI) -- A man was held at an Oklahoma crisis center after allegedly running around nude and trying to open an emergency door on a flight to Los Angeles, police say.

The rowdy streaker was restrained by executives of the New England Revolution professional soccer club who were on the Friday American Airlines Flight 725 out of Boston, the Boston Herald reported.

The Boston Globe reported the flight had to make an unexpected landing in Oklahoma City after Justin L. Sones, 22, allegedly took off his clothes and ran through the plane nude before trying to unlatch an emergency door. Police said they took him into custody when the plane landed.

Sones, of Hudson, Mass., was at a crisis center in the Oklahoma City area Saturday, said Special Agent Gary R. Johnson, a spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Johnson said Sones was being held at the center for 72 hours while authorities figured out whether he should face charges.
