Tori Tinn said Rosie disappeared from a swing set at her boyfriend's house a week ago and there hasn't been a sign of the lengthy reptile since, The Bellingham (Wash.) Herald said Saturday.
"She's harmless," the 28-year-old said following the July 12 disappearance. "It really depresses me that she's gone. I look at her empty cage and it sucks."
Tinn suspects her scaly friend may be hiding out in a nearby briar patch and has asked any concerned citizens to offer their help if possible.
"If anybody is willing to help I would be so appreciative," Tinn told the Herald.
Whatcom County spokesman Joe Bates said despite Tinn's reassurances, Rosie could be dangerous -- maybe even deadly -- since the snake can constrict and suffocate victims.
