Palin spares 1 turkey, others not so lucky
The government announced the cars, which include the Trabant and Wartburg models and Barkas buses, will be banned from Hungarian roads after the deadline, Hotnews.ro reported Tuesday.
The decision came after owners of the aging cars -- an estimated 40,000 Trabant models are still on the road in Hungary -- do not impact the environment any stronger than other cars being driven in the country.
