YPSILANTI, Mich., July 14 (UPI) -- Fifteen teenagers suffered dehydration after the elevator they piled into at Eastern Michigan University became stuck between floors, emergency workers said.

Ypsilanti Fire Capt. Max Anthouard said two of the boys, who ranged in age from 14 to 17, displayed difficulty breathing and five or six others showed signs of significant dehydration after they were stuck in the university's Walton Hall dormitory elevator for about an hour, the Ann Arbor (Mich.) News reported Monday.

All 15 boys were taken to local hospitals for treatment of varying degrees of dehydration.

University police said the boys, who were visiting the school for a Brigham Young University Especially for Youth camp, were eventually returned to Eastern Michigan University to continue activities.
