The rings were given to a front-office employee of the team, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. Advertisement Fred Fall of Fall Liquidation in Oakmont, Pa., put the rings up for sale as part of a bankruptcy liquidation. Fall said that he did not include the name engraved on the ring in the description to spare the person embarrassment. "This ring is exactly as Joe Greene or Jack Ham's or any of the other players' rings," Fall said. "The only difference is that the name is different. It's a real, authentic Super Bowl ring." The first ring, marking the Steelers' 1975 victory over the Minnesota Vikings, goes up for auction at 12:15 p.m. Monday with bidding closing after a week. Bidding for the second one, which celebrates the team's 1976 defeat of the Dallas Cowboys, begins half an hour later and also lasts for a week.
