Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe LAS VEGAS, July 9 (UPI) -- Police say a naked man went on a theft and hijacking spree in Las Vegas, at one point climbing onto a moving bus, ejecting the driver and commandeering it. The man, identified as Charles Sell, first attracted notice Tuesday morning when he allegedly stole a beer from a convenience store while wearing no clothes and then moved on to more bizarre behavior, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. Advertisement Authorities said Sell, 35, fled police called to the store and climbed onto the back of a moving transit bus, smashed out its rear window with his fist, climbed in and threw the driver off. He then allegedly proceeded to drive the vehicle about 200 yards before jumping off, leaving police to stop the still-moving vehicle, the Review-Journal said. Sell was arrested and taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation and then to the Clark County Detention Center where he was booked for multiple felonies. Authorities told the newspaper Sell was "possibly on drugs" during the rampage.
