BOURNEMOUTH, England, July 7 (UPI) -- Police in Bournemouth, England, said a man was being offered "appropriate support" after he was mistakenly detained by armed officers at a railway station.

Dorset County police said the 21-year-old man was falsely identified by an officer traveling on a train as a wanted man, and armed officers ordered him to exit the train and lie down on the platform, The Sun reported Monday.
