ATLANTA, July 5 (UPI) -- Ivory Latta and Jennifer Lacy scored 18 points each Saturday to lead the Atlanta Dream to their first WNBA victory, 91-84, over the Chicago Sky.

The Dream lost the first 17 games of their inaugural WNBA season -- a league record season-opening losing streak.

Jia Perkins had a game-high 24 points and Candice Dupree chipped in 19 for the Sky, who lost their second straight game.

The Sky had a 31-18 third-quarter edge to lead, but Atlanta won by going 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the final minute.
