Woman says fake apple damaged fake breast

LAS CRUCES, N.M., July 1 (UPI) -- Police in Las Cruces, N.M., said a woman staying at a hotel claimed her surgically enhanced breast was damaged by an encounter with a plastic apple.

A police incident report said the woman told investigators that she was in pool at the La Quinta Inn when a plastic apple that was being thrown around by other hotel guests struck her in the chest, the Albuquerque Journal reported Tuesday.

The woman said she exited the pool and discovered "her right breast was sinking down and to the left," the police report stated. The woman said she had undergone breast augmentation surgery about one month before the incident.

Police said no arrests were made but the woman's injury was photographed by a female officer and a plastic apple was admitted to evidence, the Journal said.
