MCLEAN, Va., June 27 (UPI) -- As more traveling animal lovers bring their dogs on trips, growing numbers of North American and European hotels say they are offering high-class canine menus.

The Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix offers an $11 vegetable stir-fry that's supposed to help pups recover from jet lag and get used to new altitudes, USA Today reported.

The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles gives owners the option of treating their pets to an all-natural Buddy Burger hamburger with cheese for $5.

The Wyndham Orange County in Costa Mesa, Calif., has gone as far as hosting a Paws and Claws breakfast during weekends, where dog owners can share a buffet with their pets.

"Everybody is in such a different mind-set when they bring their dogs with them. During the week, the corporate travelers and leisure travelers aren't rushing to their rooms to call home," hotel general manager Thomas Smalley said.
