Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe LINCOLN, Neb., June 24 (UPI) -- A Lincoln, Neb., man allegedly shot at his neighbor with a crossbow after arguing with the man about the breed of a dog, police said. Carlos Lupercio, 49, allegedly argued with the 25-year-old man about whether the man's dog was a pit bull, as the owner maintained, or a Labrador retriever, as Lupercio claimed, the Lincoln Journal Star reported Tuesday. Advertisement Lupercio allegedly returned about 20 minutes after the argument with a crossbow pistol from his home, Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood said. Flood said Lupercio fired the weapon as the other man was walking away but the arrow missed the other man and struck a tree. Lupercio, who was reportedly holding the weapon when officers arrived, allegedly resisted arrest, the Journal Star said. He was charged with suspicion of terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, discharging a weapon within city limits, resisting arrest, failure to comply, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, the newspaper said.
