Omar Khan, 18, a student at Tesoro High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, faces a long list of felony charges, The Orange County Register reported. They include burglary and theft, conspiracy, altering public records, computer access and fraud and identity theft.
Khan allegedly broke into the school several times and changed low grades to As. Investigators charge that he stole teachers' screen names and passwords.
Another student, Tanvir Singh, 18, allegedly conspired with Khan to steal a copy of a test from a classroom the day before they were to take it. He faces charges that include conspiracy, burglary and computer fraud.
A custodian interrupted Khan and Singh while they were allegedly trying to log on to a teacher's computer.
