NEWBURGH, N.Y., June 16 (UPI) -- An argument about a lost camera at a New York wedding party ended in police breaking up a massive brawl in which two people were stabbed, police said.

About 30 police officers showed up to gain control of about 100 people involved in a brawl at the Newburgh Ramada Inn, the (Middletown, N.Y.) Times-Herald Record reported Monday.

"It just kept going on and on. It was a wedding party gone bad," police Sgt. Peter Talarico said.

Officials told the newspaper the party's disc jockey and a female guest were released from the hospital after receiving treatment for stab wounds. Another person was released from the hospital after being treated for injuries he received when someone punched him in the face, the newspaper said.

Talarico said police took six people into custody and spent almost two hours calming the crowd, the Times-Herald Record reported.
