DALLAS, June 15 (UPI) -- A tattooist in Dallas is claiming a Guinness World Record for completing the most tattoos during a 24-hour period.

Tattooist Oliver Peck said he finished 415 tattoos, all of unspecified sizes of the number 13, during his marathon tattooing session to set the world record, The Dallas Morning News reported Sunday.

After winding up his tiring tattooing session Friday night, the body ink artist thanked those who helped him reach his goal.

"All of the hard work paid off," Peck said. "Luckily I had a lot of good people helping me. All of my expectations were surpassed."

The Morning News said a Guinness World Records representative was on hand to document the record-setting attempt.
